In 1987, Colorado Springs Radiologists, PC (CSR), a local group of board certified physicians who are fellowship trained in their sub-specialty, began a joint venture and created PENRAD Imaging, LLC. Over 30 years later, as the largest freestanding radiology leader in Southern Colorado, our clinical staff, administration and radiologists are committed to meet your imaging and health care needs along with assisting physicians in the community to provide outstanding care. In addition to their duties at PENRAD Imaging, CSR performs readings for various institutions throughout the Southern Colorado community. Our team of radiologists are board certified and fellowship-trained in Body Imaging, Body MRI, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatric Imaging, Thoracic Imaging, Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Women’s Imaging.
All of our imaging centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for imaging excellence. Rest assured that your prescribed imaging test will be performed at the highest level of imaging quality and radiation safety. Our facilities and personnel undergo a comprehensive review to earn and maintain ACR accreditation status. This allows PENRAD Imaging to provide the highest quality diagnostic imaging to patients and physicians.
